Coming from my 19 Ranger, with a Trifecta 2 (tri fold) cover. Which had a nice bulkhead extension? riser? anyways, it filled the gap between either side of the bed which allowed for the rear seal to sit nicely. it still had the ugly overlap at the tailgate on either side.
Fast Forward, picked up the Rough Country soft roll up:
Soft Roll Up Bed Cover
Material seems pretty decent, parts were all there and installed easily.
BULKHEAD: no filler or riser included. The back of the cover has a 'D' shaped weather stripping that is attached on one end of the D and is a flap on the other end. Its job is to extend OVER the bulkhead towards the cab. If you don't line the cover up just right it'll be wide open.
The rear of the cover at the tailgate, the seal doesnt even touch the middle sadly. I will have to get a good weather strip to at least fill this gap in. Just be aware if you choose to purchase this. I am opting to keep it and just upgrade it myself.
This also goes along with the terrible customer service I just went through. I contacted support to see what they had to say and if there were any solutions. They asked if I wanted weatherstripping, then said they can send a new one because it may be defective (doesn't appear so at all) or I can just return it. All before trying to solve the problem. I wanted to keep it and use it, just looking for a solution you know?
Like I said, it seems of good quality, closing the cover is a bit stiff since its brand new and should soften with time.
**I'll add some full bed shots later!
