Only tested for errors at startup for now. Didn’t notice a big difference but will be out later for a true test.
Took it on a good run, opened it up, etc. No noticeable sound difference.

But man, the power! Musta gained a ton of extra HP! JUST KIDDING!!! Couldn’t resist… 🤣

Installed today in my driveway. The YouTube install video from S&B is the only thing you need. I found the QR code linked instructions to have unnecessary steps (remove the hood latch?). Very well made, easy install.

Would this change anything with a ProCal tune? Procal i assume is engineered with the stock intake ratio in mind. I am a big believer on intakes, ive put them on every car I ever own....however, it's been a minute since ive had a modern performance vehicle, let alone one that can be tuned with electronic more than bolt ons. I'm old school.
Not sure, I have the FP tune. There are def others on this forum much smarter than me whom I’m sure can chime in.

No sound change is sad, main reason I wanted an intake was for more turbo sound

To be fair, I chose to use the side panel and have the top on. Maybe if you left the side panel and top off, you would hear more. Others may do this and can report. I wasn’t going for sound. I wanted more efficient airflow.

The FP tune should be able to adjust a bit for the better airflow .. feel any quicker ? More responsive etc .. got to be some upside here or it’s a waste of$

I want to say yes? There were times I was like, ok! But didn’t want to read too much into it on the first drive.

hard to tell if there is a difference in sound or power as I haven't really gotten on it. I also put the 2 covers on but I have GFB blow off valve so whatever turbo noises that might come through the intake are drowned out by the blow off valve. I have an ETS CAI on my 22 WRX and the primary noise you get is the turbo blow off that you hear through the intake when you release the throttle under boost (no aftermarket blow off on that car) I will see if I notice anything tomorrow when I have more time behind the wheel.

Will be interesting to see someone on here install who has already installed the UPR dual valve catch can. Wondering how drilling a big hole in the passenger side turbo tube will go.

I have installed mine with the red filter (oiled style filter) and I left the side panel off. It was fairly easy to remove it once the box is installed anyway. So I will keep it in the truck glovebox for when I go off roading and it’s dustier.
but I will say I noticed the air noise a bit more aggressive and the factory bypass valve is clearly noticeable now too! So that’s a plus.
I feel slight better throttle response in normal mode and it feels like sport mode is now instant response it seems. But power increase may be minimal tho.
I would say well worth the 349 tho!

Got mine installed yesterday. FedEx didn't drop it on the other side of town but did decide to just hold it at the local facility for an extra day.

I don't notice any extra induction noise but I have both the side and top plates on. I might experiment with removing them for a bit.

Throttle response seems improved but that is probably because I have been driving in normal mode for two weeks to see how much my MPG would improve (about a 1 MPG difference).

My TurboSmart BOV is definitely more active since the install.
