Printed a gas cap cover.

I think the door has a pretty good seal but since I have a keypad in the door and go to the beach I found I was getting sand inside.

red was recommended as a color for gas so not to confuse people and black too easy to lose.

note there is a little hole for a lanyard and a little hook for things built into the door plastic so it was designed to enable using a cap

the cap is keyed as there are four small protrusions next to four smaller protrusions spaced around the cap.

i wonder if a foreign market has a cap?

How did your 5 tire rotation work out?

When I did that with my 5G Ranger the TPMS sensor at the spare tire location confused the system. I was getting Check TPMS warning lights until I removed it.

it worked fine. No issues at all. I’m coming up on another rotation. I hope it stays that way.

2nd rotation worked fine too with the tpms.

Today it was a new cabin filter by K&N

the oem filter is about as cheaply made as you can make a filter

but it appears that I’m getting about 10% more air as my wind meter went from 20mph to about 22mph

the K&N, made in the USA, has a glossy rubbery frame and a metal screening around the fabric pleats.

it might just last the lifetime of my truck.

easy install it fit perfectly, if it gets askew on the way in just push on either side.

I did your k&n filter test on the wife's 2019 wrangler (my ranger filter is still in the mail). On the no 2 serving for fan speed, the wrangler gained a half a mile per hour of air flow.

I am going to check the flow on all the vehicles once I get a k&n for each one. It was expensive to buy 5 so I am going to do 2 a month.

that seems about right, 10% gain in airflow. I just bought a regular filter for my wife’s RAV4. I think I forgot about the k&N. I do like the cleaning aspect of it as I am more apt to clean than replace.

Ok, my filter came in and I excitedly went to install it and left the phone upstairs so no pics but I got the numbers.

Paper filter was 6.4 on no2 setting.
K&n filter was 6.9 on no2 setting.

Pretty good improvement, just like shown earlier.

And man, I must have not cleaned mine in a bit. It had a lot of sand and junk in it
