I got to see a set of the coverland covers in a 25 non raptor ranger this evening. They fit great and looked really good too. Hard to tell that they are seat covers. So I ordered a set when I got home.

How were the back seats? I have heard that they don't really fit well.

My friend only ordered the front seat covers. I ordered both front and rear seats. I’ll post how they came out with pics when I get them installed.

How did that work out for you? I have a set of seat covers sitting here, however I noticed there's a fabric piece that wraps under the seat and some airbag wiring to disconnect to even begin attaching the covers. Was curious how that looked for you, questioning whether to return them or go through the hassle.

Well….. my seat covers are still sitting in the box, waiting to be installed. Work has been hectic lately and haven’t gotten around to installing them yet

I ended up buying the coverado rears for my truck. They will be ok as covers for a rear seat that gets little usage but not good for kids or dogs going in and out. The grey doesn't match our interiors as well as the Carhartt covers do, as you can see in these pics. My fronts are Carhartt.

The instructions tell the story

The upper seat section has no straps or hooks to hold it in place. You zipper the top snug around the head rear bars and tuck the edges around the sides as well as you can.

The center belt has no way to come through the cover to be used except maybe trying to use it through the armrest access? The armrest and cupholders are still easily used by pulling up the Velcro cover and rolling the excess into the vacancy where the armrest tucks away.

This shows the color differences. Fronts are 2 year old Carhartt and rears are just out of the box and still wrinkled coverado

So my thoughts are that if you just need a heavy material cover for boxes and stuff being out on the back seat, or to protect against sun fading, the coverados will be great but if you have kids and dogs getting in and out regularly, the seat upper half of the cover probably won't protect the edges of your seat as it will flip over during ingress.

Another odd little thing I just thought of. The lower cover has straps that hook under the seat but they are not long enough to actually hook to anything on our truck rear seats since we have finished bottoms in the rear seat. I had to hook the outside hook to the one on the center that was nearest it so that's not great and hopefully it keeps the bottom on. The good thing is though the part that you tuck through the middle of the seat upper and lower cushions hooks very well to the brackets under the seat upper so that will not pull out unless you unhook it. Just the lower cover edges may come up from the leading edge of the seat bottom sometime.

Wow. Might as well have just thrown a blanket over the back seat lol

Yup. A huge bummer versus the F-150 front seat covers that fit perfectly from coverado

Here's what I picked up as a temporary solution until I decide if I want/need something better in the future. For now I just wanted something to protect the seats if I happen to be rolling like a slob or dog sitting my little Frenchie niece for the weekend.

For the fronts I'm sporting some beach towel style covers:

And for the back a pretty basic generic cover that hangs by the headrests:

Frenchie niece inspecting my TJ for the first time after brining it home. She loves car rides with us since she knows it will involve pup-cups or chicken nuggets.

I installed (front only) Seat Cover Solutions set for the Ranger. $280 and fit great. Takes some time to get installed appropriately but worth it.
