Looked out in the morning this weekend and saw this parked next to my Raptor. Had to walk over and check it out. It was a single cab with a longer bed but just the overall size difference was a little surprising.

Even more striking is the similar size of the Ranger to my ‘02 F-150 SuperCrew. This is the reason I’m in the market for a midsize truck now instead of a full-size.

If only I could get a new Ranger with that sweet 6’ bed! I had a ‘94 XLT SuperCab with a 6’ bed and it was perfect for my needs back then. With a family of 4 plus a dog, I need the SuperCrew but a 5’ bed is too small coming from 5 1/2 bed.

I had a 97 Lariat for a long time and that's basically why I went Ranger this time around. It's the same size truck but better at everything except bed length.

Had an '83 and a '87 and my '24 seens huge! But not as big as my F250. My '83 Ranger had two fuel tanks which made long trips real sweet!

Ditto. Pulled into the dealer lot and happened to park next to a 2024 Ranger. They visually felt ~same size. Then I grabbed a tape measure. Step in height, tail gate height, overall height, inside cabin dimensions, etc are within ~1 inch of each other! I think overall length Ranger was ~1 foot shorter. Maybe 5-6" shorter on the bed and 5-6" engine compartment. A new F-150 won't fit in my garage. New "mid-size" is same as my old "full-size". Little piggies been eatin and growin.

Better yet, put your Raptor next to a 1990's F150.
