Software Update … How Long To Install

The Ranger Raptor notified me that an update was available. Selected update now. It says it’s downloading but there’s no status bar. How long does this take? I’m connected 1Gig internet service.

I can't provide a time, but mine downloaded overnight while in garage. Probably fairly small, since it states it is for better downloading of over the air updates

Mine took about five minutes. After the update, make sure you go in and check your previous settings. It does revert some things you had “on” to “off”.

Can you provide the software update version? I've owned my RR since October and have had no updates and it's on "Automatic updates after 1AM).

6.14.0 is the update.

Now with that being said, I’m a part of Ford’s beta group for software releases. Not sure if this was a part of the beta release or a general release.

I deleted the screen shot I had posted. Part of the agreement with Ford is that I can’t share the beta test stuff publicly. Since it looks like my latest update is part of that, I am erring on the side of caution!!

My "Trip 2" counter had never reset since I bought my truck. It was nice to have something that showed my overall MPG over the lifetime of the truck, but that got reset with the software update.
