On my Land Rover I used the factory bezels and fitted the tweeters in there with smoked acrylic trim.Only negative I see, and I just noticed it, is they have the tweeters and mid reversed. Personally, I'll be happy with enough room for coax 3.5" speakers.
Thanks. I was rather happy with that result.I'm talking with a couple shops locally that do custom setups. No way I can make an A pillar look as good as you.
The tweeters are crossed fairly low as far as I can tell, but without the center you definitely lose some midrange as the front door speakers are only acting as midbass. Ford apparently decided the center channel is all the midrange needed for the front stage. It's really a shit setup for something claiming to be premium.
My 2025 Raptor has the B&O section at the bottom of the A-pillar, not attached to the door in the sail panel area. This makes me wonder if it would be possible to use both the stock 2025 location for some aftermarket tweeters, and a pair of these OEM sail panels (modified) to accept a small midrange.
For comparison, here is the back side of the style of stock tweeter pod in my 2025 RR. (not my photo). Here's the tweeter situation in the Ranger B&O stereo. Looks like a silk dome, which is good, but a filter cap off the back, which is not what I was expecting. It's possible there's factory digital filtering at the amp in addition to the filter cap, I'm not sure. No issue for me since it looks like the Alpine component tweeter will fit into the sail really well with some minor modifications.

You can tell that it's part of the bottom of the A-pillar.
