Speedometer recalibration after putting on bigger tires

Has anyone recalibrated their Speedometer after putting on bigger tires. When I went to my dealership, they would not recalibrate it. I know it’s 2 MPH off over 55 MPH.

Yes, it's a relatively simple process with FORScan.

Yep, piece of cake. Assuming you have an ODBLink EX (or similar) and FORScan.

Maybe someone in your area is knowledgeable but it’s relatively easy. Just follow that video.

You can get the ODB from Amazon for $70 and you can download FORScan and get a 2 month extended license for free. You will need it for many things like adjusting ride height (VDM) after a lift & bigger tires so the truck knows its new level for ride quality and correct shock performance.

If you end up doing the Ford procal that same piece of hardware has a tools section where you can change tire circumference to adjust speed. It's the single best way to do it. And I've done both
