I have a 24 Ranger XLT FX4 4X4 with the technology package.
Anyway to sync up the temperature display on the center main screen (12 inch screen) and the dash display? Mine reads like 8 to 12 degrees different?

This is the first I am hearing of this, my 25 XLT has the same temp on the instruction cluster as what is on the center stack display.
I would ask your dealer about this.

'24 lariat. temps read the same the handful of times I checked, for ~70-90 degrees. I'll keep an eye out. what is the temp range when they mismatch, really hot or cold?

edit to add: I'm talking about the weather temperature. Not the engine or tranny temp.

Are you asking about the temps on the dash and upper right corner of the center display?
For me they are always the same. But the temp reading from Android Auto or Car Play can vary. The truck reads the actual air temp, the phone gets it from a weather info source. THAT can be different from the indicated temp on my dash.
And it's not linear. In cool weather, they read the same, but as the temp rises, they get further apart. The truck will report temps 5-6 degrees hotter than the phone reports.

Thanks that makes sense.
