Why won't the vehicle read me the .essages I get when I press play?

Apple car play, android auto or Ford software? More information would be useful mate?

None of them work! I've tried all three!

On the truck screen, select Apple Car Play, then select "settings" on the Apple Car Play screen. You'll be able to turn it on or off.

I think I know the problem. Try going to your Bluetooth on your phone. On the line with your truck touch the blue "i" on the far right side. Now click "show messages" to on position. I hope this does it for you. Otherwise it mat actually be a problem.

If I turn off android auto it works. Ford will read it to me. But not with android auto on.

Mine won't display a pop-up like my F-150 did, but it will sound a tone. When I have Android Auto on, I have to tap the messages icon toward the bottom, then play it.
