This is something I noticed recently. When I'm making a tight turn in either direction, like in a parking lot, I can hear the rear tires squealing. It's not loud like a burnout, nor the typical crunchy sound like with passenger tires. It sounds like I'm dragging a tire. Anyone else notice that before? I'm not concerned yet, but makes me wonder if my rear diff is binding.

I know why you mean, but I only notice it on smoother pavement like in parking garages. I doubt it’s anything serious, might just be a characteristic of the KO3s.

On super smooth concrete , every vehicle i owned sounded like the tires were squealing when turning but if you have arear locked button by the trans setting button, maybe someone accidentally hit it?

This is on typical asphalt, 2H, but sounds similar to tires on smooth concrete, or skidding with locked up brakes. I can't hear it with the windows up, so it's really subtle. I'll have to get the rear in the air to see if the diff is dragging. Could be slightly out and need adjusting.

Mine does it too. I'm like 99% certain it's just the K03s. I only have 3k miles on them and those things take a WHILE to break in, and they bitch and moan over any smooth surface. The shittier the terrain the happier they are.

Well, unless you're 3 minutes into a brief sunshower. Then you're risking death by loss of traction.
