Happy Sunday.

so I have a shelter green on order. Wish I could see it before I have a build date. I’m a little nervous with the way it will look under certain conditions..
I will say that the Velocity Blue is really start to grow on me. The other colo Remi amost completely eloiminated.
only out side shot would be Cactus or Silver. The blue looks pretty awesome esp when it not as bright out.

thoughts?

Keep the Shelter Green that's the color I have on order as well! I currently only like (3) colors for the raptor. Cactus Grey, and the Azure Gray. I will say I hate paying extra for paint. I do like the Cactus grey as it almost matches my 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro (Lunar Rock) which the RR will be replacing. I love the green/brown tho. Hopefully I will get he truck sooner than later as I totaled my Tacoma.

Can’t do azure. One of my mothers other sons has it and A) I’ll never hear the end of it and
B) I never follow. Besides in some light I don’t like it. But I’ve looked at a lot of velocity blue Raptors and Saw it in person last week on a bronco. Looking good but I think a lot of attention. Although what ever color this truck will bring attention. Cactus is nice but I have a Hockenheim silver M2C

I keep vehicles for a long time, so when I’m deciding on a color I think about will I get tired of it after a few years. While I like the blue, I know I would get tired of a bright blue after awhile. Shelter green I wouldn’t personally get so can’t help you there.

But if I were you, I’d think which one would still make you happy to see at year 8. However, if you only keep your vehicles for a couple years, then I’d just say get Shelter Green because it’s unique and whatever you buy in a couple years will most assuredly have a bright blue option.

I agree , don’t wanna dislike it in 4 years. Although I usually am done by 5 max.
unless of course we’re talking 911GTS.

Cactus Gray is a color which over time will look like the old sneakers you use to cut the grass. You will not unsee the green.

I just went through this same dilemma. After I read a comment that the SGM looks like baby poop I can’t unsee it. Why couldn’t Ford offer Eruption Green is beyond me. I would’ve picked that in a heartbeat, it looks banging on Broncos.

Anyway, I switched over to Velocity Blue. I had a Gen 1 Blue Flame Metallic Raptor and I loved it. It never got old in the 5+ years I owned it and this blue looks similar. Another reason too is I noticed Ford stated the two most popular colors are SGM and black. I don’t want to look like every other RR on the road.

funny I read the baby poop too. I know when it’s on it’s gonna be awesome but when it’s not who knows. I had a 1500 17 Denali that was dark red and went light in the sun
never got tired of that Red. I’m trying to love the Carbonized Grey but it’s too common too light and no pop for a grey. The Aussies have Meteor Grey. Moot point can’t have it over here.

Blue might be it. Worse come to worse, wrap it in black stealth

Tyler, right above where I should be. Juno or PBG. Nothing like the Juno dog beach.

This did it for me. I know it’s the Aussie version of our blue but the principal is the same.

I’m liking it. I’d rather have their lightning blue but beggars can’t be choosers.

all I know is what ever color, that truck is gonna be bada__
I'm grateful,
I swore I was done with pickups after 28 years but this is gonna be fun

If you can't see the green then they made a big mistake in calling it "cactus" gray.
