Tonneau Cover For 2024 Ford Ranger Lariat???

I expect to take deliver on my new Ranger within the next week or two. It has shipped, but is waiting for the final ride to where I live. I am 100% VA disabled and will be adding the pull out bed slide which I had in my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 (just a shorter version). I had a trifold hard top fold-a-cover on it, but of course with the height of the dodge and the 8ft bed, it became quite tiring after my 2nd back surgery.

Looking for suggestions for tonneau cover for the Ranger. I want hard and secure one that would be easier for a disabled person to use.

I put a tri fold backflip on mine, a little trying to install, it leaks a little on the sides. I do like it and it's secure, should be easily workable once installed for you

Thanks for the reply. I took possession on my 24 Ranger Lariat yesterday. I have ordered the bed slide and will have it installed next Thursday from a 3rd party. Same as the one Ford sells with the no drill installation, but 600.00 cheaper without the Ford emblem. and the cover will be next. it will end up being a flip or a hard roll up as a retractable will take up too much space unfortunately.

I ordered the lowmax cover. I hear the covers with a foam core absorb moisture and get really heavy. Lowmax does not have a foam core.

I just got the LEER HF 650M P/N 650342 and I really like it. I got caught in a super hard rainstorm and there was very very little water in the bed.

I looked at the Lomax today, the salesman said they had never sold one because of the 2 mounting on the roof.

There is one where you don't have to mount to the roof. Thats the one I ordered. The sales man talked me out of the ones with foam core. Apparently they absorb moisture after time and weight like 800 lbs.

If you are interested in a retractable and have not totally investigated that option you might want to look into the depth of the canister. The slider you show looks low enough to clear the canister. Yes you lose the room on the slide that is under the canister when it is all the way in but that should only be about 15" (guessing). Just my 2c
