We had an amazing time out on the Trail Hero Expeditions event last week. 5 days, over 500 miles, mostly offroad, high speed sections, slow rock crawling sections, and amazing views. More to come from this event! All of the new products on the RR performed flawlessly! Couldn't be happier with all of these.

I am editing a more in-depth video showing full detail of how the products withstood the abuse. Hope to have that out early next week.

Check out our growing line of Ranger Raptor products here - https://americanadventurelab.com/product-category/ford-ranger-products/

This is great, please consider developing an inside the CABIN full width rear storage platform like your gas can mount, with the rear seat completely removed.

IMG_0541.jpeg

The ability to easily add a couple of long aircraft type rails would be helpful for heavier stuff like a fridge or plastic bins, or a hard dog crate. It would be easy with stout brackets attached to the factory seat holes, keep it very low! Access panels to get to the factory floor bins would be nice.

A second lighter duty vertical molle panel on the rear cabin wall could carry lightweight stuff like soft pouches, fire extinguisher and first aid kit.

No drawers and definitely no wood, just lots of stout tie down and mounting points. If the cargo needs to be hidden, a dark blanket on top works fine. There is nothing like this in the market. Some of us would really prefer secure clean and dry inside the cabin storage instead of in back… I could make a heavy $$$$ wood system, but that would be a really unpleasant job!

Alternatively, what are the dimensions of that gas can rack? Maybe it would work inside without mods, using 80/20 track….

You need to add dimensions to all your product pages!

Thanks for doing all this!

They're already produced at really close to our cost. The labor to laser cut/de-nest/assemble/package takes up almost all of the cost of the product, not to mention the material. We're just trying to get our name out into this market with a low price point.

We will definitely be building almost exactly what you're referring to. Here is what we do for the Gladiator, very similar to your request. I would have loved to have this in our truck last week for the Trail Hero Expeditions event. We could only do so much in 3 days. 🤣🤣

Those poor steps... 😉😉

I will work on nesting those today and see what our yield is for a sheet of them.

Woweeee! Any idea of the Ranger time frame? Your Gladiator floor set in black powder is $1200, and the rear molle wall in black is $485, I guess the Ranger set would be a similar price? Since the Ranger seat is one piece, would they be one piece parts? Those would look better.

Honestly that is a little too steep for my budget, the base Goose Gear system, no drawers, for older model Rangers is $2000 shipped.

Tho I could get your floor first I suppose....

Sure. Xander replied and said he would forward it to you, but I'll gladly post it here.

Basically, what I'm hoping can be made are some steel or aluminum brackets that can bolt into the factory rear seat anchor points, with studs/bolts welded in a few inches forward to bolt the seat brackets to. Will probably need a new clasp made as well (user will need to drill and bolt down) for the seat bottom to latch onto. Seat back will probably only need some washers and maybe longer bolts for the factory latch, depending on the seat recline.*

Something like this for the f150 - https://lmiwelding.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2

This will give us more storage behind the seat without giving up too much backseat leg room. I think it can be done without additional seat bottom support needed, unless it needs a taller bottom spacer.

I attached a picture of the factory mounting location and bottom seat bracket for reference.

* Imagine an extra 1 degree of back seat recline. The kids would love it.

Not sure on timeframe. Probably not too far out, honestly. We have more designers here now than we have had in the past, so we're getting quicker to market on new products. Although, currently, our focus is boosting production output.

Goose makes some great products and I would never talk down about them. I really like those guys and we have a good relationship. However, our material cost, production cost, and finished products are not comparable, and we're still $550 cheaper for our raw aluminum version. We don't require a coating on top of the aluminum to make it durable. They're apples to oranges.

I can't really speak to the price differences with the Gladiator yet, but I would assume they would at least be in the ballpark. As for one piece or two, it just depends on the attachment method needed and shipping considerations. It's significantly easier for us to make one-piece designs.

OK. I understand the request. Typically, we stay away from moving the seats. The insurance liability is pretty high with those products. It's one thing to remove them completely, but another to reattach the seat in a non-factory location. I am open to the idea, but there would have to be enough demand to justify the risk (and specific insurance requirements on our side).
