I’ve had a Turbo Smart BOV installed on my 2025 RR for 2 months now and haven’t really been impressed. Barely ever hear it make the noise and here recently not at all. Also have noticed a lot of vacuum but not much of any boost recently. It’s not stuck open and connection is good. I ended up putting the wastegate back on and immediately started seeing some boost numbers when giving it gas. Not sure if I just got a bad unit or what. I guess I’m going to stick with the stock unit for now.

Mine is still stock (for the BOV) and I can hear it nearly anytime I let off the gas, is it even quieter? I've been contemplating the boomba adapter.

Was it the dual port or plumb back version?

Hmmm I have the dual port (vent to atmosphere) BOV from turbo smart and I can definitely hear it. It’s very very noticeable especially when manually changing gears using the paddle shifters or in sport mode. Sounds bloody fantastic! Get strong boost too… definitely sounds like you got a defective unit.

Maybe something wasn’t sealing properly in the valve actuator or on the valve and it wasn’t building pressure?
