Update from ford.

Ordered in August. Received this email for the second time yesterday after using Ford chat. No VIN or build date. But order is clean… take the W where you can I guess?

I just chatted with FORD 10 minutes ago, so I will probably get an email now since I haven't had one since August 30th. I ordered at dealer on May 27 and ordered confirmed as Primary status - Order Processing and secondary status Unscheduled-Clean since May 30th at 1:50 PM. I am still unscheduled too. I am the Illinois on the sheet craigc created. I was ok with delay but not happy now that I see others scheduled with a lot shorter order time to production date. I also see orders scheduled with all options that I have but not all on one vehicle. Also same colors and models and drives. So like others have stated it is BS from Ford on their scheduling process. It is frustrating but hope it will be worth the wait. I am happy that others have build dates and hope they get it delivered quickly, it isn't their fault they got scheduled.

I ordered mine on November 10. Received this same email. Ford Chat told me my Lariat was unscheduled clean and approved for production (whatever that means!). Guess I’ll just continue to wait and live vicariously through those that have scheduled build dates!

How do you chat with Ford? When I go to their support page it clearly has a "chat" section with their operating hours but there is no button or way to actually chat with them that I can see.

You have to allow the site to use your location. I struggled with this for quite some time until someone on this forum educated me. Good luck!

Thank you! I was able to get my VIN from them and now I can finally check the status. I'm scheduled for 2/5/24! Hopefully it doesn't get pushed back anymore.

I got that email as well last night, but for shits and giggles checked with Ford chat for any additional info. They have me scheduled for 2/26 build and gave me a VIN.

I just tried Ford Chat as well. Seems quite a few folks got scheduled this week so I thought I’d check. No love! This is what they said:

Also got it. Trouble is dealership has changed hands and sales manager that put in my order is seriously ill. Feel bad but have to touch base to make sure my order doesn't fall thru crack. While no build date this was the first email with an Order #.
