I didn't want to admit this, but I can't tell much of a difference. How long does it take to "learn" all the things, you think?

I got the tune several months ago and while right off the bat I noticed the difference in shifting, I didn't think there was much of a muscle difference. Fast forward to last month when I went to the Ranger Raptor Assault course. They are running stock engines and I felt the difference immediately. The stock engine is pretty awesome but the additional horsepower and torque from the tune are significant. I chalk my original opinion up to the truck "learning curve" and me maybe going too easy on it. Bottom line, definitely worth the price.

I ordered it and local Ford dealer installed it this week. 2025 Ranger Raptor tuner kit that is. Truck runs great.

yes, to my local dealer. It took less than a week. I paid for the install with the order.

My local dealer was not an option on the Ford Performance site, so I have it coming to my address. My dealer also told me that the price on the site for install is only for dealers with a special partnership with Ford and only the ones listed on the site. They let me know that the install will be more than the $112 listed on the site.

My dealer said something similar but did put it on paper that they would install any future updates for free

My exact scenario. I paid a lot more for the tuner and the install than most in this thread, unfortunately.

Anyone keep their pro cal tool installed after the download? Why? Anything useful displayed by the tool? How do you power it off. My tool has power applied when I plug it in without the truck being powered up.

I have mine installed because the ding dong dealership assured me that it wouldn't work if I didn't. Mine also stays turned on when I turn the truck off but eventually I noticed it goes to sleep.

Huh...that would make it a "piggyback tuner". Google AI says that it's not...says that it flashes the ECU.
