In Maryland if it’s not fix after one attempt and it would not pass inspection because of the problem you can do a lemon law. It would not pass inspections with dash lights flashing about brakes.

As mentioned, if the dealer does not recognize it as a defect, but as user damage then you are SOL. The dealer has already claimed based upon your previous post you caused the damage. Good luck, man, and let us know if it works, but you are about to enter the FAFO part of DIY mods.

No it did not. So I did a hot tap for mirror and now truck has been in and out of shop for two months because the parking brake fault alarm will not stop going off. They blamed my radar detection for it. So removed it from truck two months ago. So now they’re trying to blame me for other things and won’t fix it for me. The alarm is bonging the whole time you drive it. It drives you insane. Lemon law is what I think I’m going for because I can’t have a truck for 5 years making that noise. I would leave everything alone unless ford does it for you.
So, would the 3 pin work????

I’ll either wait for the Dongar adapter or go thru the fuse panel. Not in a hurry to do either.???

Looking forward to it! I'll have to check for a wiring diagram. I've always used a blendmount with a mirror tap and it looks like their website has a mount and tap. I want to run a radar detector and dash cam like I have in the V. but it's not looking like there's enough real estate on the mirror to mount both. The dash cam will likely have to be ran mounted on the glass.
I actually ended up modifying 2 different Blendmount's to create one that made my dash cam and radar detector work on a single mount. I got the idea from another user and it was posted in a different thread. This is highly dependent on the models of the dash cam and radar detector that you have, as the mounts are very different from model to model.

Yes I replied to myself lol. But I just wanted to say it is possible. One thing to consider is GPS - if dash cam or radar detector have GPS, it is possible the placement can block signal if one is positioned on top of the other, YMMV.
