Visor shorting out recall #26S29

Just got this on the infotainment screen tonite it's the update for the visor frayed wire shorting out.
At least for my truck it's an OTA update, no need to bring in to dealer. On my XLT I don't have the lighted visors.

I dont have good connectivity in my area . I live in a dead zone. cell phones never work. Alot of radio stations dont work well either. I've tried the ford connect updates, they start and never finish,
I;m glad there is that option though. There have been too many recalls in the last year.

Wow. Not even public wifi ?
what's your dealership do for connectivity or do they plug into the USB on the truck and then connect to their system not sure how that works or even how mine was downloaded using my home network?? I have no idea.

No public wifi near me....rural area. Some of these ford downloads take hours ,so I'm told, so my Ranger would have to be parked near strong wifi for hours to work. I 'll just let the dealer do it

My update came OTA now this please help @Ford
When I put in in reverse it switches Apple CarPlay to Sirius XM and I don't have a subscription

yea no visor lights either, but it includes those map lights so probably the wire bundle runs right past the visor area, just happy i didn't have to go back for another recall service, it's getting annoying
I have a Bronco also and that has had 4 so far with two of them still outstanding waiting for fix.

Hmm, will check mine out haven't noticed that particular issue so far.
