Just got this on the infotainment screen tonite it's the update for the visor frayed wire shorting out.
At least for my truck it's an OTA update, no need to bring in to dealer. On my XLT I don't have the lighted visors.

I dont have good connectivity in my area . I live in a dead zone. cell phones never work. Alot of radio stations dont work well either. I've tried the ford connect updates, they start and never finish,
I;m glad there is that option though. There have been too many recalls in the last year.:crying:

Wow. Not even public wifi ?
what's your dealership do for connectivity or do they plug into the USB on the truck and then connect to their system not sure how that works or even how mine was downloaded using my home network?? I have no idea.
