When you get a chance, can you crawl under it and see if the J-braces are installed from the factory? I'm dying to know if this is something we'll have to do after the fact. If you're not sure what they are, do a search in the forums for it. There is a post with pictures about it.

I tried to check that for you last evening. I stuck my phone under there and took several pics, but alas, I do not think any of them captured the correct place. Besides, I guess the Raptor could be different…

The R-7 is more affordable than the R-8 and virtually identical. Has saved me thousands....LOL

Good choice. Looks very similar to mine. I have had several over the years and found a few good points to look for. The side flaps - my first one didn’t have these and pups can scratch up the door panels. The mesh for airflow - very nice. Mine also zips down between the 2 front seats - easier access if you / passenger needs to get to the pup or he can rest his head on the consol. The storage pockets - great for lead, cleanup bags, etc. Slot through cover for seat belt attachment. My guy is 100lbs with big feet - the leather in my suv is still perfect - protected by one of these covers.

It is hard to get a pic. First, mine is a Raptor so different back there than other trims…does not appear to have J braces, but with Raptor there is a gusset that ties into shock tower that is heavy duty. As far as upright, again some extra support compared to other pics and video, however I do believe J braces will be needed for heavy box loads. Appears to be separate part number for the Raptor Jbrace kit.
