Yep. Y'all are probably running a different setup on the R button anyway. This is the way. Especially if you are not running default "Normal" settings.

Yeah, Comfort steering, sport for the rest and no ASS...LolYep. Y'all are probably running a different setup on the R button anyway.
RR has the programmable R button. So for other trims it's $99+tax or try to remember to press the disable button after start.Nah, set it up on the R button and double press when you start the truck. Save $99.
Sorry but yes, and no thanks , I guess I just don’t want to have to mess with pushing anything but the start button every time I drive my truck and I do simply expect that it will not to die on me, every time I stop at an intersection, that sort BS just really sets me off. Curious? The 20 dollar disabler from ebay or amazon that works just as well as the 100 dollar one.
For people who are ok with not having a brand name
The EPA, under Lee Zeldin, is looking at ending auto start-stop tax credits to manufacturers. Auto start-stop is to say the least not a consumer favorite, and with no financial encouragement to be an environmental steward is most likely over. I am ordering 4D Tech from Amazon. This install is relatively easy even with my large hands. Check out the video for what it takes to put one in my wife's 2024 Escape Hybrid.Sorry but yes, and no thanks , I guess I just don’t want to have to mess with pushing anything but the start button every time I drive my truck and I do simply expect that it will not to die on me, every time I stop at an intersection, that sort BS just really sets me off. I figure odds are if a person can afford a $40K-$60k truck, then a $100 bucks isn’t going to break them.
IMO, That $100 bucks is very well spent, if it means that my $60k investment doesn’t piss me off every time I come to a stop. Lol
With my 24’ model RR it was one of the very first ones out, several weeks prior to a clear cut aftermarket solutions like the start stop eliminator came to market for the new 24 model Rangers.
So , there was a short time, that I had to try and rember to hit one of those buttons.
Which quite often didn’t happen, least not till after the truck shutoff on me at the first stop light that I came to. Lol
Which typically was followed by several expletives, till I found and pushed one of those two buttons to shut that ASS crap off. lol
So , I have bought and installed that same $99 start stop eliminator into all 5 Rangers that I now own, even the 3, that I don’t typically drive myself.
IMO , Still Worth every penny to me. lol
No one mentioned that they couldn't afford $100 (other than you). Saving $100 on things like this are why some of us can pay cash for a new truck when we want one. Pick up those pennies and pretty soon you have dollars.I figure odds are if a person can afford a $40K-$60k truck, then a $100 bucks isn’t going to break them.
Wasn't sure where you were going with it other than telling me how I was wasting my money. No one mentioned that they couldn't afford $100 (other than you). Enjoy your truck.

Either way, I am good with having the start stop eliminator on my trucks.
I am just saying I will gladly pay the $100 to shut the ASS off and have it stay off.
Feel free to pinch your own penny's any way you choose. LOL
I believe quite a few agree with me, since it is a very popular mod around here.
If i remember right, i pulled up the button assy and plugged the a/s/s delete deal inline with thr switch and then ran a wire to the fuse box where it used its fuse jumper to plug in.I would be curios if it installs the same way as the $99 version I have been buying off Amazon, or if it’s one where you have to tear the whole center console out of the truck to install it inline with the ASS switch in the console.
