Yes I ran out to the truck and checked, I do have the LIM button. See my edit to my original post.Good question, and I don't know. If your steering wheel has a button labeled, "LIM" then you've got the feature. And if you have it, you can set it to be the speed limit (maybe the default?), or +1, +2, +3, +4, or +5. I have mine set to +5 which is probably enough to earn a performance award in a 25mph zone from a local cop, but when the truck slows me down automatically it's enough of a reminder to me to behave and watch out (for kids, pets, OR cops).
So it's not like a cruise control right? You can be driving along pushing the gas with the CC off and it will still slow you down? Will it also speed you back up when the limit goes back up?
Or does it only work with CC?
I'm actually on my second reading of the 600+ page pdf of the owner's manual, been going through it and making notes of things to try/check.
I found out about manual shifting yesterday by mistake, somehow I enabled it so tonight I'll be reading up on that.
