Gracias!
I did not have ASS on my 2010 Ford F150 with the V8. In 105,000 miles over 11 years, I had one new battery, no starter issues, no cam phaser issues. Changed the oil/filter every 5K miles. I never pushed the override button on my 2021 F 150 3.5L and had to replace the battery with a larger AGM at 21K miles. Lots of tech differences between years, obviously, and my truck went into sleep mode a lot from all the electric vampires. But am very glad to have the 4D Tech ASS eliminator installed in my 2025 Ranger. Get one.I knew common wear and tear on batteries, starters, and some likely engine wear and tear.
‘But seems these Ford Cam phasers really don’t like the start stop feature.
‘Ran across this video break down yet another reason to get a start stop eliminator .
Seems to be making a valid point?
Any luck? Mine is in thanks to CC1999 and his employee, Ben, with small hands. Timed Ben, after glove box lid off, had the plug out in three seconds. Connected it in less than ten seconds. With tidying up, 38 seconds, total. Man, he's good. Didn't want a tip.I'm going to try this, but I can't today. Have a family function to attend shortly. good to hear you have a backup plan via cc1999! I'll report back tomorrow. thanks buddy!
sorry for the delay. Indeed, I got it installed! what I found that worked was to press the tab on the back, then push up on the plug a little bit, and I heard a snap. Then, still pressing in on the tab on the back, I used a small flat head screw driver to pull down on the front face of the tab. There's a small indent on that front face of the plug, easy for the flat head to help with the downward force. Had it out in less than 5 seconds!Any luck? got this a little while ago. fits just fine, happy to have it. It also fit my 2024 Braptor just fine too...Gracias!
This fits 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor. I took off a star because the design is not quite fully refined. It needs to be a bright color like orange or yellow, or else it should include a tether that can go around the filler neck. Otherwise, this black cap is going to get lost or forgotten, for example roll under the vehicle in the dark at a gas station. A bright color would make it simple to locate. JD Spokane WA

I had one of those on my F150, I've tried to find one for my Ranger, Ford's website says this one doesn't fit our Rangers. Do you have one and how is the fit?
Inquiring minds want to know. Does this fit your Ranger?
