Added the 4Dtech Auto Start Stop Eliminator. Unclipping & clipping the wiring harness into the truck was a bit challenging with my carpal tunnel wrecked mitts. Despite a little blood and scratches it’s now installed and works exactly as advertised.

I added Side Vent LED Lighting, Raptor lights and rock sliders.

Are the side vent LEDs on when headlights or parking lights or daytime running lights? Description says anytime side markers are on, but honestly I’ve got no idea when that is since I’m inside the truck . Maybe I just need to pay better attention

You have options. Can run them through the marker lights and they come on with the lights or you can run them to an aux switch. On my 2026 RRaptor, I ran my grill lights, backlit fog lamps and the side vent lights to an aux switch so they're on their own fuse and can be turned on or off by me when I want to.

The side vent lights are virtually undetectable with the sun out, but on cloudy days and more especially at night create a pretty cool effect.

I connected both the Raptor lights and vent lights to the side marker light and I run my lights on auto. This makes them come on at night, dusk or overcast rainy days.

I traded in my XLT this week. It's been a great truck, but I decided I didn't really need a truck with a recent career change. I also wanted to shift my own gears again. You can guess my choice based on the picture. I will have a few items in the classifieds soon: Folding headrests, maybe my Ford hitch cover (+5HP), and if someone wants to pick it up, I can give them my fancy 2x6 bed divider.

Added heated mirrors to my xlt a few weeks ago. also pre ran wires for puddle lights(get a set of aftermarket ford ones, and Ill have to cut the access hole for them), and turn signals while I had it all apart,(Ill get a couple clear lens amber led button lights and add in, as the housing will physically not accept the factory turn signals.) as the truck was prewired for all of it. I rather have the xlt 301A mirrors with it all ready in(and will be looking for a set, unless I break down and order a set of clearview tow mirrors from Australia, april 2025 I emailed them and got the part number for LHD rangers, and a estimate that now probably has changed big time. lol), as I dont have 360° cameras, I dont need the larriat mirrors. but to save a few bucks, I got the heated glass, and wiring pins and made my own harness, still need to get a few pins for the mirror side of the plug, so I did jumper wires for the heater for the time being.

I installed the Diamondback SE on a 2025 Raptor in December 2025. I did not remove the bed caps to install shims under the bed caps. The shims did take some effort to slide under the bed caps.

I did remove the bed caps for a previous tonneau install to cover the holes/weather proof.

Would you have any pics of your instal That you could share.
Paid a truck accessory shop to install mine.
However I am not sure they did it correctly.

I am thinking by how much the bed caps are smashed down, there are not any shims under there.

I am thinking the clamps besides over tightened i think the back ones are in the wrong place?

They did not install them properly at all. suppose to take off the stake pocket covers. and put the shims over in there, and clamp to those only. Like looks like they glued the shim to the top of the bed rail? fucking dipshitiod1ts. it goes under the rail as support, I'd go back to them, and make them install it right, that way you can't get denied for any warranty issues for an improper install

ShadowDragon24 is correct that the shims go under the rail cap. For my SE install the shims slid under the rail cap to the front and back of the stake cover hole (not actually occupying the hole, if that makes sense).

Also I think the torque is important (or they would not have mentioned it in the instructions). I have tightened my clamps 3 times now and they needed tightening each time.
