Father's Day is coming up, and it got us wondering... 🤔

🎁What's the least favorite Father's Day gift you've ever received?

Maybe it was another tie 👔, another coffee mug ☕, socks 🧦, or something that left you wondering, "What am I supposed to do with this?" 😬

Bonus points if it was truck or vehicle related. Was it a universal accessory that fit absolutely nothing, a gimmick that never worked, or a gift that was meant for a completely different vehicle?

Let's hear your best worst Father's Day gift stories.

This is the worst Father's day gift I have ever given...

As a kid in the 60s & 70s I would give my dad a carton of cigarettes as a gift. Mom bought them for me. In 1976 my dad died from lung cancer at age 52. What an awful gift I gave.

Mine is coming up. I realize it is petty, as I don't really care about Father's Day, as I know my four kids appreciate me and show it all the year. I don't need another day.

However, my wife and her mother are taking me and my mother-in-law's husband out to celebrate father's day for both of us.

We had this discussion in prior years. Here is the thing. I am a father, my wife and I raised four kids. My mother-in-law's husband is not and never has been a father. He never had kids, was a bachelor his entire life. Then when my mother-in-laws husband died (at this point all her kids are in their 30s), she married this man. There is nothing wrong with him -- but he was never a father or a step-father. He never raised kids, he made the decision to never emotionally or financially take responsibility for any child. He is fine to visit, but he is not a father.

But somehow, they have decided that he equally deserves to be celebrated on Father's Day, alongside me. I know it's petty, but this has been going on for some years now and while I have made my feelings known to my wife, they continue this charade.

Not the worst "gift" , but an accidental child from my wild younger days chose father's to to inject himself into my life 20 years later. Its fine now, but it sure created friction for awhile

Not petty at all, someone getting a title they didnt earn is hypocrisy. While he didnt ask for the title, doesnt seem like hes stepping up and say "hey, I cant accept this because I never was".

OK Realtruck, got any other great topics you want to bring up?
Sure, let's keep it rolling haha. I was just thinking to myself why did ford stop making so many Flex Fuel vehicles and it looks like overall it is because the government incentives went away along with some other factors. I was thinking this while filling up my 2012 Expedition Flex Fuel with E85 for $2.59 a gallon vs $6.59 for 87 octane in San Diego and I really think Flex Fuel cars, even though they get about 20% less fuel efficiency, are a great thing to have. They also pollute less than regular fuel vehicles. That is my top of mind topic for the day
