Count on an additional $300-$400 for safelite to add for the ADAS calibration service. They will require it.More than likely, this isn’t an OEM windshield but aftermarket. However, this is what I’d consider a starting price for replacement.??
Yes sir that’s correct. This was just a wag at the base cost for an aftermarket windshield. And of course we can’t forget about Uncle Sam’s tax on top.??
I just got a a crack almost the exact same spot. Mine is just a few inches below. The shape is exactly the same however!I assume I caught a rock. I didn’t see anything this morning, and by around noon I came out to it like this while it was in the sun.
