If you do a Google search, and type, "-AI", after your search criteria, it will cut out a lot of trash. Not all, but most.

Something else that I tried - verify it for yourself though - is that if I turn the truck off when the wipers are up on the windshield, they stay up, obviously. What I found is that if I use the remote start from the Ford app, the wipers stay in place and I can warm up the truck and blow the defroster on the windshield. Just be sure to lower them before you turn on the key.

My methodology so you can self test - I parked the wipers on the windshield, but left them in the lowered position on the glass. Using the remote start, the wiper arms did not move. When I inserted the key and turned it to the RUN position, then they self-parked. No hood paint or small animals were harmed by this test.

This worked on my 2024 Ranger XLT FX4 - I make NO claims that it will work on any other vehicles, but it's easy to test for yourself.

It's a thing they used to put in your glovebox when you bought a new truck.....but it is no more!

It seems the owners manual we get in the glovebox is now an abridged version.

Good tip—being able to lift them when the truck’s off is clutch in freezing weather. On many 6G Rangers there’s also a wiper “service/winter” position you can trigger with the stalk so the arms park higher for blade changes; worth checking your manual on my truck that i bought at online auction if you do this a lot. Just be sure rain-sensing/auto wipers are turned off and don’t let the arm snap back onto the glass—I stick a folded towel on the windshield as insurance. If ice has them stuck at the pivots, hit the base with some de-icer first so you don’t strip the splines.
