Wrap around seats in Ranger Raptor

Can someone with a Non US Ranger Raptor provide their thoughts on the Seats. The seats are build up on both side in the videos it’s claimed these will help secure you off road. I’m 6’ 200# and wondering how these seats will fit, are they comfortable, are they wide enough, I saw where someone said they don’t think they will hold up.

I'm also 6' 200lb and sat in the demo unit and went for the test ride at NAIAS. Obviously I can't comment on the longevity of them but I thought they were very comfortable and plenty wide. I don't think you'll have any issues with fit.

Do you mean the bolstering? I quite like them personally and I’m a little bit bigger than you. Granted I haven’t sat in a Ranger Raptor, but I own an Explorer ST, Mustang GT, and have ridden in F-150 Raptors; all those seats are shaped moreless identically. Plenty wide and comfortable with good lateral support.

I'm 6'0 175lbs and have similar seats in my 2017 FoST. Very comfortable on long drives (12+ hours) and they have held up well with the minimal conditioning I do to them once or twice per year. I wouldn't be concerned.

Thanks for the response, I’m getting a little antsy ordered 90 days ago. The Dealer was up front he told me he had no idea when but I would get one. I ordered it to flat tow behind out Motorhome but with the full time 4x4 that isn’t going to happy so I’m shopping for a trailer, I mention to my dealer that we discussed the flat tow and they agreed it would be a good toad. So I want they to come off the price to off set part of the cost of the trailer. Of course the guy I’m dealing with can’t make that deal. No worries

The RA Raptor seats are wider than my PX3, and arguably less comfortable. The base is flatter, and no doubt this was to cater to the US market, the side bolsters on the base of the seat are nowhere near as large as in my PX3.

Also they are significantly flatter than the Focus ST Recaro seats, and significantly wider.

Coming from not big, but definitely heavy; the seats are not aggressively bolstered, and soft to a fault. They have the same support as the XL/T with some leatherette. If you’ve sat in a new Bronco, they feel similar but with slightly more side support.
