We have another new product release for the Ranger lineup this week! This time, we're tackling a problem that's familiar to anyone who uses their truck bed for more than just hauling groceries.

The IAG BedBridge™ is designed to close the gap between the bed and tailgate, helping keep gravel, mulch, dirt, and other loose materials where they belong. It also creates a smooth transition for rolling equipment like carts, dollies, engine stands, and coolers in and out of the bed.

A few things we think make this one pretty useful:

  • Purpose-built for the Ranger: Fits 2024+ XL, XLT, Lariat, and Raptor models.
  • Moves with your tailgate: Integrated torsion springs let the bridge pivot automatically as you open and close the tailgate, with no adjustments needed.
  • Built to handle real work: Constructed from 6005-T5 extruded aluminum with a textured Super Grip powder-coated surface. It's designed to support loads exceeding Ford's 485 lb static tailgate rating, though we still recommend following Ford's factory weight limits.
  • Works with your setup: Compatible with tonneau covers, spray-in bedliners, bed mats, bare beds, and most popular swing-out bedside toolboxes.
  • Minimal space taken up: Provides approximately 52" of side-to-side coverage while reducing usable bed length by less than 1.5".
  • Easy installation: Uses existing factory mounting points, requires no drilling or permanent modifications, and takes about 15 minutes to install.
At just under 6 lbs, it adds some practical functionality without taking up much room or adding much weight. Like our other products, it's designed and manufactured here in Westminster, Maryland, and backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

I have a rubber gap cover. Always sticks in the upward position. I'll give this a try.

Will it work with a bed extender?

I already have two dents where something fell in that space without me aware of it and attempted to close the tailgate. This is cool! Not sure about that price though.

I like the idea, Not perfect, but definitely nice for wheeled items and large flat surfaces.

This looks to be a very well thought out and engineered item that has a very practical use for those that need it.
