What was your reasoning for going this route rather than a kit in/near the bed? I would think having to open the door to use it would be somewhat annoying. Wired to an upfitter switch?

It looks really clean, I'm just not sure why you would want the noise in the cab or the open door inconvenience. I also feel like storage inside this truck is at a massive premium and this kills a large portion of it.

Please take this in the spirit of curiosity wit which it is intended.

Makes use of space that I saw little value otherwise, becasue of the odd shape, and if the bed is loaded up when I exit the trails and I want to air up this makes it quick and easy.

Installed the Agile Offroad ARB kit this weekend. The kit is very well made including pre made wiring harness. I still would not call it a beginner project.

Be careful with that. Two things: the compressor needs good access to airflow (think volume of air), and that compressor gets really hot- too hot to touch. I had one in my jeep under the hood and I always raised the hood when I use it.

Got it. I have found that spot good for stuff I want with me, but won't need tons of access to. It is for sure an odd shape.

These are both really good points.

You remove the plastic liner as part of the installation and the bracket holds the compressor so there is space all around but it probably wouldn't hurt raising the seat when airing up.

That space was made for the JL Audio Stealthbox sub 🤣

Clean looking install though.

Looks good. I put my compressor in the same place but routed the air chuck and the switch to the rear of the bed. So far I haven't had an issue with heat, I am running the ARB Brushless compressor.
