While we twiddle our thumbs waiting on scheduling, I thought it would be fun to discuss future plans for our trucks.

I'll go first:
  1. Method bead grip wheels (probably 703 or 707) with stock K03's
  2. Front perch collars or springs to level the truck
  3. Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover
  4. Bed storage for spare, recovery gear, offroad jack, tools, etc.
  5. Auxiliary front-facing white lights and rear-facing amber lights
  6. VHF radio mounted in center console
  7. Flexible mudflaps (unlike the OEM splash guards)
My goal is to keep the truck's performance stock with minor quality of life improvements to make trail-riding safer and more comfortable. This will also serve as my daily so I want to completely retain the factory warranty. I'm sure more stuff will come to mind as people start to take delivery but this is my current list.

How about you?

Most of my current stuff minus suspension components can be directly transferred over. The bed rack is the core base of everything and it can be width adjusted.

I also plan to do the same vinyl graphics design I created for the rear. (the factory raptor graphic will be removed)

Already have my Rigid light and mount and Beaver step that I will take off my current truck. Also taking my custom headrest covers to put on Ranger.
Debating if I am going to upgrade the reverse lights and turn signals to LED as just the taillights are LED.

I plan on adding a tanneu cover, tint windows, remove "Raptor" decal from the bed-side, and maybe upgrade the audio system.

I just have some basic stuff planned, since it will be a daily driver when I'm not riding the motorcycle.

1. ceramic window tint
2. Line-X spray in bed-liner
3. lighter weight aftermarket wheels
4. bed cover of some sort (I haven't really decided what kind as of yet)
5. better floor-mats (probably Tuxmats, since that's what I have in the Bronco)

There will be other things, but they're down the list a bit and I want to get the important things (to me) out of the way first.

So you like the Tuxmats? I've never seen them in person yet

How easy is it to remove that Raptor decal? That's probably the first thing I will do. Haha. Probably would come off easy with a heat gun I imagine?

Yeah, there's some videos online on how to do it, but basically a heat gun. I may just take it to a professional detailer and have them remove it, and then ceramic coat the whole thing.

Same as any stick-on vinyl don't even need a heat gun a hair dryer will do. Use a piece of floss to get a corner going or use your fingernail and just keep keep going on it and pull comes off like any other sticker. May have to use some Goo gone on the residue but that's about the worst of it.

Same process for badges except you'll use the floss all the way through. When I got my current Ranger the sport decal and Eco badge came off the same night along with the stupid dealership sticker.

- Husky Weatherbeaters
- LineX (through the dealership
- RazorTop convertible topper
- Rubber bed mat (to keep things from sliding)

That’s just to make it driveable

- Move my Audison/Hertz system from my Ex to the Ranger
- Sound treatment
- Wedge box with a 10TW3
- Dash Cam
- Morimoto or Evil Mfg third brake light
- Smoked marker lights and side mirror lights
- Some tasteful vinyl accents
- Raptor lights

Longer term if I have a good sales year
- leveling kit, shock revalve
- SVC upper control arms and tie rods
- KO3 35’s
- Method 703, Bronze

And somewhere in there I’ll be adding the child seats and sun shade when a baby arrives

Is the 10Tw3 a JL audio sub? Thats what I want to get to replace the stock sub. I'm assuming I probably need a mono amp to power it, and hopefully the stock BO speakers will be good enough? Or you think I full replacement is needed?

Yeah, I was skeptical at first, but they're built well, easy to clean, more durable than I thought they would be and have good coverage.

That’s a 400W sub. And it requires a lot of enclosed space so it will be a challenge to find a box with enough volume to fit. It will definitely overpower the B&O fronts so it’s not really a good choice unless you’re doing a thorough full system replacement like I am.
