I ordered in April picked up in late August from Granger Motors.

I ordered the cheapest Ranger you can get and very happy. $34,928 OTD

I had a 5g Ranger and have a 5g Ranger work truck. I thought they would be pretty similar which they are but more refined. The ride is much smoother. It sits up higher too.

Things I noticed,
Did you know the fog lights turn on when turning? Turn right and the right light comes on, turn left and the left comes on.
Auto high beam. They don’t fade like the bronco though, they are off then on
Active grill shutters.
Lane keep assist (I have a Toyota and the ford system gives you more room to bounce back and forth)
I saw in videos no mechanical fan so happy to see electric fans, there’s 2.
LED plate lights.
Weather stripping around hood and air box.
Max payload 1815
6 tie downs
Exhaust is different looks slightly bigger at exist I’ll have to measure both.
Rear U joint is CV style like the bronco
Aluminum control arms again like bronco
Seems more responsive at tip in
No Sport mode at the shifter, have to press mode button 3 times. (Liked 5g better)
But in sport mode you can see what gear you are in by pressing + on shifter couldn’t do that on 5g in sport.
10R60 shifts great
Key is cut different on blade, more of a river going down the center
Comes with a trim ring on steering column!
Seats hold you in better, hard to put a finger on it but they feel great!

Overall the truck is great, best in the midsized market, the 10 speed was and still is what pushes this truck to #1.

All those are standard on an STX? Has it been leveled, or is that the way it comes?
I thought about an STX, but I don't like the wheels. Maybe '25 will offer a Sport or Black Out option on STX like my '21.

Well, you’ve got bragging rights on otd price, that’s for sure. Then I think about using some of that payload, and there goes the perfectly painted bed, or using some of your towing capacity, and, oops no hitch, and it adds to your price. Maybe you’re getting aftermarket.
I hope you enjoy your truck for a long time!

It still comes with a bumper mount with a 4 pin connector able to tow 3500 lbs. not planing on towing anything more than that.

As for bed liner I’m probably getting the bed rug with ford points.

A ford performance tune? If that’s ever available I’d look into that for sure.

On my RR I think there are small cornering light, I don’t think it’s the fog lights

The STX has halogen fog lights and it’s definitely the fog lights.

As for Raptor im not sure but I’d think it would still be the fog lights. You’ll have to take a look in your driveway, turn your wheels to the left or right up against the garage door and see where it’s coming from. And report back

Lariat trim and Raptor trim have a dedicated light right next to the regular lights that is the turn signal light, it's not the fog lights.

Looks good. Ford made a good decision making the XL/STX base models look more upscale with the painted bumper caps and aluminum wheels as standard.

I don’t like the chrome rims on my shadow black either. Getting them powder coated black.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the base painted silver wheels in pictures, but after seeing them in person I’ve thought they are pretty nice. I also thought the Goodyear wranglers would be louder on pavement but they are SO quiet!

This speaks volumes about Granger Ford. From what I've seen, they tend to have some of the best deals around. Congratulations on your "economically-friendly" new truck that will keep its value for a long time. It looks great.
