Oh well, at least we finally get a usable rear sliding window. When it was manual. It was worthless to me. Love opening it up with front windows on a nice day, creates great air flow through the cab.

And it has 95% of what I'd want, so I think I'll be very happy in my new Ranger Raptor.
The sliding rear window also works great with the moonroof in the tilt position. Oh wait, you can't that either.

Don't need a moon roof. It'd stay shut 90% of the time between the added cab heat and glare caused by it. Haven't missed a moon roof on my Tremor at all and had usually had one until now.

Here in AZ, rolling down the windows is often not an option. You may as well turn on the heater when it's 100°+ outside.

Lack of rear A/C vents is a major ding...

I get it and am very disappointed. But it's not a deal breaker for me. Toyota didn't add rear air vents either. Interesting they chose this path.

Yeah, I wouldn’t call it a deal breaker, but it could end up being a tie breaker! ?

I've seen it in some of the US intro videos. I think its available on higher trims/packages.
I doubt it. It's not showing on Raptor trim and not mentioned in the order guide/documentation from Ford.

In other markets they are currently 2023 models. It's coming out in the u.s. mkt as a 2024 model. And no , no rear ac on us rangers.

We're still receiving 2022 6G Rangers here. Ford couldn't have made it much more confusing.

Rear AC vents are truly a 1st world "problem". When I grew up driving AC was for people with bigger budgets and the rest of us opened windows and vents and cooled our behinds with aftermarket ventilated seat covers.

Stupid Ford CEO said this morning they are cutting down on parts to save money AND there would be non negotiable pricing

Its not a first world problem if you're ordering a 56K - 60K ranger raptor and it doesnt have damn AC vents in the back. its completely unreasonable.

Thanks for the reminder! I’d forgotten that at one time, really up into the 90s, AC was an expensive stand alone option. On the order of an automatic transmission. This far north there was no guarantee your car would have it, especially with cheaper cars or Japanese branded cars where it might be a dealer installed option.

Stop torturing yourself, cross Ford off your list, and buy something else that has exactly what you want for the exact price you want then. Your angst is 100% self induced here.
