Greetings all,

I recently took delivery of a 24' XLT with the key code feature but I am unable to find the factory code to set it. I dug through the glove box (ugh, no printed full-size owners manual, did you receive one?), and could not find the wallet card with the code.

I tried the YouTube tricks to have the truck display it but no luck.

Has anyone else receive their truck with the key code? If so, can you please tell me where the factory code is?

My next step is to contact the dealer and then tear into the truck lol

Dealer gave me mine. It was in the glovebox.

I noticed there's a menu item on the infotainment system where you can add codes but requires you to enter in your primary code first. Mine didn't work even though it does unlock the doors.

Maybe try inside the body control fuse box under the dash on driver's side?
I thought I saw someone that did not order the securicode find it (the card) there when checking fuses and wondering why it would be there. Could be mistaken. Owner's manual pg 386.

Ford help indicates....

Where can I find my Ford's Keyless Entry Code?
You can find the factory-set 5-digit Keyless Entry code on a wallet-sized card (see image below) that was provided with the Owner’s Manual for your vehicle.
Note: doesn't help much if the only owners manual they give you is one in the on-screen PDF....LOL

There is a code card down there but I don't recall the code being the same. I could be mistaken though.

Oh, I may have to try that code in my infotainment system but I don't remember how many digits that one was.

Mine was in a smallish plastic bag in the glove box. It had the card with the code and an instruction sheet for personalizing it for your own code.

Your dealer should have this on file. Ask them for it.

I’ve never heard of a dealer storing that information. For privacy and security reasons I’m sure they wouldn’t. The code can be reset through the dealer, but it has to be hooked up to Ford’s computers and takes a little while.

The raptor has the ability to copy to a new key (up to 4 can be done). The spot is in the arm rest floor and directions are in the manual to do the copy

All of the ones I know always did. But times change. Maybe most don't now. They used to keep a record of them in case something like what you are experiencing happened. And I know they used to be able to hook your vehicle up to a handheld computer and retrieve the info, too. We did this on many of our used or program vehicles so that we'd have that info to pass on to our customers. We even wrote it in the front of the owners manual for them.

I'm referring to the keyless entry code, entry pad on drivers door should you have gotten that option.

Why didn’t your sales rep tell you where it is? Strange…

@dram32

Sorry to hear that. I found the RAP module with the code on it last night. It's in the driver's foot-well, next to the door frame. It's low and close to the floor. The sticker is facing the front of the car.

I got it by laying on my back on the floor, head next to the brake pedal, and by looking near the hood release latch. I could not see it with my eyes (due to the position) but got it with a smartphone camera.

I attached a photo if it helps.

@jrRaptor , thanks for sharing that. Do you recall if it was by itself or packaged with something else.

I highly doubt I would throw that a way if it was packaged with something else but who knows.

@Dpowhatan Oh interesting, I never got the bag for that. I have the supplemental owner's manual (which is useless), quicks start guide, and the backup assist book and stickers.
