Can you post up some more pics? Maybe some of the internal installation and also the end of the cover near the tailgate.
We have developed a bolt-in seal kit for the 2024 Ranger so apart from being interested in the X4s for myself, I'm keen to see how it will interface with our seal kit.

I picked up the RetraxONE XR Tonneau Cover from RealTruck.com. Shipped and delivered in about 5 business days. It did have model specific instructions, and brackets for the 2024 Ranger. The clamps that I received didn't match those in the instructions, but they still worked. The only problem I ran into with the install is that the inner lip of the tailgate has an indentation and that created a gap where the closed cover would normally have a decent seal. I added some 1/2" weather stripping and it seals fine now.

I am interested in the Diamondback HD which is not yet available. My thinking was this, I will not use the bed of the truck for hauling stuff, I have a utility trailer for that, so I will use the bed more as a trunk. The two lids are removable, if necessary, which will leave only the center panel. Also, the top of the cover can handle up to 1600 lbs., not planning on hauling anything that heavy, but nice to know that I could with the J-Braces installed too. It comes with a bunch of tie-down cleats. And as a bonus, if I want to trick out my cover like my truck, Diamondback has a pretty impressive selection of accessories.

So then where do I put my mountain bikes? Well, you can get a Yakima rail system specifically designed for Diamondback. Using mounting bars on a two-lid system will disallow you from using the them while your load is in place but once the load is removed, you can then operate the two lids. Meanwhile, I will be able to access my gear through the tailgate and with proper planning, the gear I may need before reaching my destination will be packed near the tailgate and the gear I won't need until I reach my destination will be in the front of the bed.

Or maybe a bed drawer system instead. Lots of options.

My local Ford dealer in Calgary ordered a Retrax Pro XR, this came within a day with the correct brackets and was fitted. This is the same as the Ford badged accessory that is currently back ordered. Just has a Retrax badge.

Same for me. Took a bit to follow the instructions given the model specific steps but got there in the end. Will also most likely add some weather strip to the tailgate. Only issue, needed to tap a couple of threads due to spray in bed liner.

Hi Sparky. I installed the same cover as well. It was more of a bitch getting the measurements to be within the 1/16" they recommend. It's still not quite right. My Retrax cover was missing the casket for under the back window when it came. Had to go back to shop who sold me it. Do you have any pics of the !/2" weather stripping you added ? I had the same idea just wasn't sure it would hold up over time. The gasket on the side rails seem to keep it elevated too much or its just the way its designed. Thanks

I didn't overthink it. I just went to Menards and grabbed something that fit:

Looks great. I was thinking of getting some kind of self adhesive padding for the tonneau box inside the truck. Maybe 12" wide going the length to give a little protection.

Really, really love that one but $700 for shipping = yikes lol. Looking at $3900 total. Wish this could be configured to use an aux switch to operate instead of key fob or mobile app. Love the design and lighting though.

I just got them to use UPS and ship to Maine for $400.
I bought the manual version. I want to control the top myself.
