As the title says, after I turn off my wipers the one on the passenger side isn't returning back to its normal position. It stays up a little too high- high enough that I can see a good portion of it from inside the cab. When using it on a constant wipe it doesn't go down as low as it should as well. This is a recent development, as it was working fine previously. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this? I tried to pop off the wiper arms to reset the motors but they're on pretty well and I felt like I might break something. I'd really like to resolve this without a trip to the dealer.

I've seen it. Sometimes it's fine, others it parks high. Probably one notch off on the spindle.

Mine does it too, sometimes parked in right position sometimes up a bit.

Hello! Could you privately message us with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer so I can look into this wiper concern? Thank you!

Are you sure they aren't in rain sensing mode? When they are, they don't park, they go to a state of readiness for the next raindrop. After a while of not sensing any, they will go back and park. But I found if I turn my truck off in that state they don't park, they stay partially up.

Can't recall the last gen doing that, but I turned off rain sensing pretty quickly on it.

My truck doesn't have that feature. I've now noticed that they are sometimes staying too high, and other times going too low. The driver's side will actually go over the cowl sometimes.

I'd check to make sure the arms are completely seated and if that's not your issue bring it into the dealer. Could be a linkage issue I suppose.

I checked the nuts and they're tight enough. I have an appointment scheduled. Thanks.
