Has anyone found a good place to conceal a firearm out of site besides clipping it under the steering wheel? Looking for suggestions and/or photos of your setup.

At home in a safe with the proper locks on it. Is this for storing it during travel or do you need the ability to defend yourself immediately in the hellscape that is the Colts home town? If its storage, the rear under seat compartments should work fine. Otherwise you are kind of SOL as the under glove box, center console hole of doom, or under the steering wheel are the only readily accessible places unless you are strapping a desert eagle or something.

A Glock 43 + 2 extra mags (in a mag pouch) fit perfectly in the RR center/upper glove box.

It’s not lockable but I always lock my truck even when in my garage.

I just wish we could lock that upper glovebox. Granted, it's hard to see for people who don't know it's there, but to have that button lock would be a gamechanger.

If anyone on this forum is tech savvy, I'd love to see a Raspberry Pi hooked up to the locking mechanism with, perhaps, a finger/thumb biometric application.

Something like this...

I always Velcro a holster to the side of my center console between the passenger seat and console (next to the passenger seat belt receiver). I keep it holstered there while driving and on me when I get out (unless I can’t bring it in somewhere then I lock in the glovebox)

I use RAM mounts under the driver seat frame to attach a flat bracket that sits close to the seat under my thigh.
On that flat bracket I mounted a universal holster that holds a small CCW, Sig P238 or my LCP.
It’s out of view even though my windows are tinted but easy to reach.

Wish I could stow and conceal my AR
this is the biggest gripe i have about the ranger compared to the 4g taco. at least when you get the half cab taco, you get lockable storage peg-wall that could easily fit 2-4 long guns behind the driver seat. i would even be satisfied if we had a space big enough to conceal my PCC, not even a full sized AR.

as it is now, the best option i've seen for securing long guns requires a camper shell.

do you mind sharing a pic or two of this solution?

I like it, got a link to that bar adapter? Any problem getting the ubolt around the seat structure? Are those the “B” 1” ball parts and a 3” long arm?

Does the holster shift down on bumpy roads? If so the muzzle crown will get jammed into the floor if the holster is too short (like yours is)… and then dragged across the mat when the seat moves back and forth. Yikes. A slightly taller model would fix that and give some cushion too.

I doubt that this setup would be useable for a normal sized gun heavier than about 10 ounces, I can’t imaging a fully loaded full sized pistol or steel revolver being a good match.

Thanks for posting.

Does it need to be accessible from the driver seat? What type weapon?

There are large molle gear panels that attach to your seat backs, it would be simple to add a holster but it would not in any way be concealed…. But if you used a regular rectangular molle pouch with flap, it would not be as obvious as a gun holster. I don’t recall the manufacturer.
