Your truck looks great in silver! I keep toying with the idea of switching mine to silver from white that I ordered.

Saw both. White is more flat, and looked more like a 'work' truck to me. Silver was more on the metallic finish and contrasts nicely with the black plastics

ikamper mini 3.0 mounted on the billiebar crossbars. I went with the 8" version and tent is practically flush with the cabin roof.
Got the awning mount from them as well..

Install was smooth and Billiebars team were super helpful answering my questions


Next is mounting the 180 awning and finishing the bed setup

Almost done with the setup basics.

New additions are the eezi awn dragonfly mini 180 awning + eezi awn table and bracket which clears nicely under the tent.

Reached out to Billiebars to send me a shorter vertical for the awning mount which is on the way.

Starting the obligatory thread now that I've received the truck this week.

Next few steps are to move my UHF radio and ikamper mini tent to the bed of the truck from my 4Runner. Build thread is here in case anyone is curious where I'm coming from.

Looking for a simple crossbar setup and bed cover in the bed to fit my ikamper tent at cab level.

Hoping to avoid any heavy mods and keep this truck as close to stock as possible

Updates for 2024:

First real trip on the RR. Overall things went well and no major issues except a minor fault with the fuel sender unit. Second issue was with the awning flying off its mount, as the bolts sheared through the awning rail due to the abuse.

Happy to report everything else worked flawlessly, and the RR felt at home off the tarmac. Didn't even need to use the front lockers, but tried them out anyways. Skid plate and sliders took a few hits, but held up well. Looking forward to our next trip!

Sometime late March 2024 the vehicle underwent some kind of OTA 'software update' automatically on which I received a popup on the main screen. I have honestly been unhappy with the results due to 2 issues:

1- Ford remote start via phone app no longer works
2- After each vehicle restart, all the "pre-collision" systems turn back on by default. Almost got into an accident, twice, due to the pre-collision 'auto braking' and 'evasive steering' being turned on again.

Now after every vehicle start, I have to go through the menus and turn off all 3 "pre-collision" auto brake + evasive steering settings + the Auto on/off setting + lane departure assist, which is getting super annoying.

@Ford Motor Company Please find a way to keep our preferred settings saved for good.

Update -
Sliding tray is installed. I really like it and finally have ease of bed access. It is much heavier than I expected, but my back thanks me for having it.

On-road use: zero issues

off-road use: when used hard I faced 2 issues: 1st was the billie bar crossbar bolts shaking loose (locktite doesn't work - solved by longer bolts). 2nd is the ikamper legs coming a bit loose after a few trips, which need some re-tightening. No issues otherwise so far.

I do wish someone comes up with a sturdier crossbar setup by utilizing the side bed stake pockets for best stability

Air, Water, Fuel

Some updates on the build: Finally got the ARB twin air pump setup and 4-liter air tank. Also added in the 50 liter ironman water tank and a 20 liter gas can for longer trips

Water will always be filled with drinking water purity so can be used for anything (washing, cooking, shower, etc.). One of the air lines from the air tank runs to the water tank cap and uses a standard wheel chuck for mounting it. I run the water now at 4psi most of the time, as 10psi really ballooned the water tank!

The 20 liter fuel jerry can will be on standby for those longer trips or re-filling this thirsty beast after some extended off-roading. Just added some foam tape around the fuel can bracket to reduce rattling.

Air will be used for inflating tires + pressurized shower water setup since I don't want to run an electric pump. Air pump and air tank mounting was done behind the passenger rear wheel well with a custom bracket and ARB metal hoses all around. The ARB twin pump runs off Aux 4 switch, with its own electrical wiring running towards the main battery. Pump is set for auto-cutoff at 150psi and restarts again at ~130psi to refill the air tank.

One air hose is going up to the truck bed area (to the water tank for the pressurized water) and 2nd towards the rear bumper license plate area (for the tire air hose outlet).
