Awesome build sir! You got any side pictures of the total poke? I wish 74Weld could get some fender flares made. I hate poke like that, but do agree the factory off set is a better look.

I have an R in Shelter Green. I think the Ranger Raptor with Portals is a better buy than a Braptor. The Ranger is just more luxurious on road and a lot more quieter lol.

Jelly of your R in Shelter green. I had one on order for over a year and decided just last week to get one on the lot. But it is black. Really wished to have all three in green. I love my BRaptor. But the RRaptor is a better all around car. And with the Portals just as if not more capable than my BRaptor.

I too hate the side poke. Some big fenders will go on as soon as they are available in the US.

I pick it up tomorrow but just having some Stealth Matte PPF installed. Cant wait to see how it will turn out. Should take most of the shine away from the Shelter green and protect it from the elements. Here are some progress pics.

That’s awesome man! I’m planning to have my R wrapped in Xpel Stealth down in SLC. I’ll have to stop by and see how yours looks.

Love the build. Legit may get these some day. I thought I saw some where that, 74weld portals are ctis, central tire inflation system capable? Is that true, how freaking sick would it be to just. hold down a button and air down all 4 tires, while all my heep friends are out in the snow. As it is right now, if were just trail driving, and they all stop to air down. I'm like ah yeah ima just put it in baja mode and ill wait for you at the end of the trail. But that would be sick.

I haven't heard about CTIS for RRangers but that would be really nice. I am sure 74Weld could figure it out they seem like engineers. finally got her out of the shop and all wrapped.

Glad to see my "Rack-Hack" for broncos has been utilized across platforms. Forscan and FDRS together make this possible. The 3.0 rack can be a great upgrade for any new Ranger. Anyone with 3.0 rack questions feel free to contact me. FYI I did the 1st 3.0 rack swap in a bronco.

So how much ground clearance do you have from bottom of the crossbeams underneath? Bottom of running boards? I asked 74Weld on his video but he never replied.
18.25" on similar build.

I'd highly suggest using In Situ DLC films in the Portals. You can dramatically degrease drag losses and increase service life of the gears in the portals with Synthetic MSH. Try it, you will be surprised.

Informational - Science / History Behind In Situ DLC Coatings for ICE and Transmission / Gearbox Applications | Ranger6G - 2024+ Ranger & Raptor Forum, News, Owners, Community (6th Gen)

It solves a lot of lubrication efficiency and reliability related issues and while it's most widely used in ICE's, it was originally designed for gearbox applications that experience severe torque loads.

The Wedeven test says it all:

Ford Ranger My Ranger Raptor build just started: 37's - Portals - Stage 3 HOSS Steering - etc... 1762004169742-24

Obviously, the entire powertrain would benefit (engine, front / rear diffs, transfer case and 10R60). I did my entire powertrain after I hit 5k (ENVER use it until an engine / gearbox is broken in, I'd advise 5k to 10k first for engines because those rings need to seat first).
