R A N G E R stamp on tailgate....Hear me out.

Ok so first of. New to the forum, new to world of Raptor's so saying hi.
Second.
Now it could be my OCD but the RANGER stamped into the rear tailgate, reaaalllllly get's on my t*ts.
Have never liked it and can't understand why Ford didn't just produce it nice and smooth. I've looked everywhere online for an after market tailgate that doesn't have ranger stamped into it but no luck.
I went to a local body shop and asked how much to fill it in and spray it over but after being told "Yeah, it's a lot of work" and being given a $3,000 estimate, I said no and left.

Anyone else bugged by it? or have a solution I'm not seeing?

There is no solution for it. Filling it is the only option, $3k is about right for whats involved since itll be a bunch of filler, sanding, and painting.

Unfortunately every manufacturer has switched to this. My Tacoma had it stamped, the GM trucks all are stamped, Frontier as well.

Looks like a body shop could cut the whole skin out where the stamping is, weld in new flat sheet metal skin, finish it smooth, prime and paint.
