I like the mode. Throttle response is awesome, tranny shift is a lot more snappy, and the gear showing is a nice touch. Most likely there would be a hit on mileage as the tranny tends to grab the next gear at a higher rpm.

Though the exhaust tone is not bad, but I set it in baja.

Is there any drawback in this set up for a daily driver?

Just as you stated, trans hanging in a higher RPM expecting you to want to stay in the power band, so slight loss of gas mileage. That can be annoying at times. Other than that, nope. It's how I have my "My Mode" set up and that's the first thing I press when I start it up.

Thank you.

Yes, double tap the R button, or OK the prompt brings it back to the saved My Mode.

One thing I noticed when the outside temp is in the 90s, and AC is blasting, when stopped, screen prompt says it can't disable engine due to high temperature

(90% of my driving) my mode is sport mode with baja exhaust, and normal suspension. thinking of changing it to baja mode, 2h, sport suspension.

I found when running this way I just use the paddle shifters. Then after 15-20 seconds of me not using them it transitions back to a normal automatic transmission. Helps get rid of the down shifting.

I don't think they recommend Baja mode for on road.

This is how I daily drive mine. Averaging 15.5-16mpg. But 100 Smiles Per Gallon. So I dont care.

I like sport mode, but I have found that downshifts in certain situations can be somewhat aggressive. For example, in situations with sudden slowdowns. I understand it’s trying to keep in the “powerband”, but I have had it drop several gears in the matter of seconds, especially on a twisty turntable downhill mountain roads.
