From the manual:

Intelligent adaptive cruise control combines speed sign recognition and navigation map data with adaptive cruise control to adjust the cruise set speed to the speed limit detected by the speed sign recognition system. As the system detects new speed signs, the set speed updates.
There are limitations that affect the accuracy of the speed sign recognition system and its ability to determine the current speed limit. The intelligent adaptive cruise control system and its ability to determine the current speed limit shares these limitations. See Speed Sign Recognition.

witching Intelligent Mode On and Off

  1. From the settings menu, press Driver Assistance. See Center Display.
  1. Press Cruise Control.
  1. Press Adaptive Cruise Control.
  1. Press Speed Sign Recognition.

I had an order for a 2024 Lariat. My order got changed to a 2025 so I got my favorite Ruby Red. Have had dark red Fords since 1996. They removed the chrome running boards, that doesn't make sense. Owell guess Real Truck will get my business for a bed cover and chrome running boards

lol speaking of RTFM, I invite you to do the same before continuing to publicly argue that this feature doesn’t exist in our trucks.
If you read my posts i also indicated that it may not be on by default which seems to be the issue.

I looked and the dumbest thing is that you can't get the tri-folder or retractable tonneau covers with RWD model, only on 4WD. The running gear has no impact on the bed as far as I know.

Also not happy to see that the Black Appearance package no longer includes the spray-in bed liner, running boards or the black platinum door sills as it did on the 5G Ranger. Only way they could get me out of my `21 Ranger is to bring back the Cyber Orange Metallic though, so I'm just a window shopper.

@stemplar and @SubaruRaptor If you really want to mess with your mind, I recall reading that Speed Sign Recognition was a disabled hidden feature found in the 5G Ranger with ACC as well, but required using Forscan to enable it as there is not user interface way of doing so in the info center or radio.

I switched my early May order over to 2025. Since Iconic Silver is no longer available I now have ordered Carbonized Gray with the Black package. I feel like I have gone from Boomer to Zoomer overnight.

Right now I am looking at the Velocity blue with black package and FX4. Waiting a month or so to consider all of my options but that will be my build if I go that route. Pennsylvania will have at least two if I move forward, lol.

I don’t alway like black out packages but this one hits all the right spots. Hopefully Ford will build my order this time.

I think production will be better in 25. I remember the Maverick, first year was a circus, second year was definitely better. Ford rollouts haven’t been smooth to say the least. Hopefully the quality improves, that’s my main concern.

Sorry, it is not available to general public. Can ask your dealer to look it up.

In the order guide it shows standard
In the build and price it shows
Technology Package
Included
Available on XLT. Includes: • Adaptive Cruise Control and Speed Sign Recognition • Front Parking Sensors • 360-Degree Camera Not available with: • Advanced Towing Packages

I believe it to be an error in the build and price.

Still not sure what to think about the ActiveX deal on Lariat.

ActiveX is a synthetic seating material used in Ford vehicles, designed to mimic the look and feel of leather while offering enhanced durability and ease of maintenance.
What is ActiveX?
ActiveX is a high-end synthetic material developed by Ford to replace traditional leather in many of their vehicle models. It is engineered to provide a luxurious feel while being more durable and easier to clean than leather. ActiveX is made from recycled materials, making it an eco-friendly alternative to animal-based leather.

Is it really all those things or is it just marketing spin to put a cheaper material in the seats?
