Took my 2024 XLT Ranger (delivered in May)in to my local ford service center to have them check
1) rough transmission issues (4th down to 3rd down to 2nd and very rough change down into 1st when stopping)
2) Cold starts bogging out
3) Also RPM sticking at 3500-4000 rpm when take foot off accelerator in sport mode.
After 4 hrs wait I was told that it needs a new transmission and I am waiting for them to call me back after they contact Ford about a replacement. Said something about a "spike?" in transmission, possible diode? Failure?
Any one else have these issues?
