What kit did you use, and did it actually raise the front 2"?
There is a poster here that used a 3" lift from Ranger Lifts. The puck is actually on 1 1/2" tall, but supposed to lift it 3", when in actuality only lifted 2".

I recieved my universal rekgen mudflaps and the led yellow fogs from diodedynamics today. I shall get to work on a template and figure out how I can mount these flaps, and install the fog lights this weekend hopefully!

Torqued the rear shock mount bolts.

Had intermittent clunk for months I attributed to my hitch attachment and final took that off and it was still there. Both lower rear shock bolts were backed off 2-3 threads.

Installed the OEM mud flaps. Stock rivets were a pain in the ass to remove with a flathead. I recommend a rivet removal tool for anyone adding mud flaps, it was so much easier.

Posting bc this is one of the most popular threads on 5g, and a lot of 6g's are being delivered, so let the hi-jinx begin!

Today I recycled 1. My Coverking neoprene charcoal & black seat covers. They were still like new from Pepper, my 2019 5g 2. Also the black solid lug nuts (replacing the 2-pc chromed OEM). 3. My Amp Research Bed Extender, only 1 of 2 holes on the brackets lined up, so its temporary until I can drill the other two. Ford did well to keep the factory threaded holes from being sprayed withbedliner. 4. The Gator EFX hard cover was recycled the other day, it fit the new bed perfect. 5. Husky front and rear floor mats were also repurposed the other day. 6. Vault Cargo Management hitch lock, 4 years old and no rust like many complained about!

NEW STUFF: 1. Yesterday I installed new Go Rhino running boards, RB20's (look like Raptors, to me)...didn't get the factory ones bc in my experience they rust readily, and the RB10's looked like new on my 5g over 4 years of use! I like the RB20's better. 2. Had to add a decal to identify Olaf, on the back window.

Waiting on foam tape to add the front seal to the Gator cover. Only thing didn't fit was the console tray, the new console is bigger.

Not sure if this counts, but today I was humbled…

Swapped out the factory 2pc lug nuts for some nice 1pc Gorilla Auto ones

Looks good. I would like to know how they hold over time?

I dealt with the same style two piece lug nuts on FCA vehicles and came to realize that while they still had the rust jacking/swelling issues but the trade off for one piece chrome ones is that eventually the chrome would chip and rust would start on those.

Not a direct comparison, but I've had really good luck with the black finish Gorilla uses on other vehicles so I'm hopeful the chrome ones will hold up well too. My other vehicles see a lot more tighten/loosen cycles (summer/winter/track setups) and for now my Ranger only has the factory setup so I'll probably only be hitting them 1-2 times per year and I'm trying not to drive it much in the winter so 🤞

Did you remove the Phillips head center part before removing the original rivets?

I did not. That would’ve been much easier?
They are call "scrivets". You have to use a phillips driver and with a very lite to almost no pressure try to unscrew them. Most will not screw out all the way but once the head raises off the base, you can pull the center section out and then the base is easy to pull out.

I just did about a dozen of them installing the rear mud flaps. The key is basically no downward pressure when you are unscrewing or they pop back in. Once they’re proud of the rivet I could usually turn them the rest of the way with my finger tips. One just wouldn’t back out no matter what, I eventually just cut it out with nippers since the kit had longer replacements. But yeah, night and day difference removing them with the screw out.
