Once again. I paid the 400 bucks, wasted my time and money having the dealer try to install something I didn't need, which we didn't know until they had already begun the install (hence the post). Go through getting evidence and discussion with my dealer about it to share here. Having to sell my braces at a loss (to help others here who need them) and arrange all of that."At the end of the day its 400 bucks as well, that shouldnt be an issue to anyone here."
You've been acting like this isn't a big deal before you even had a ranger, and now that you do and it's without the flaw, you're saying $400 shouldn't be a big deal to anyone here. Read the room. It's the cost, the time needed to get it done (time is money), and the fact it needs to be done at all on every 6g before the '25 model year.
But you don't get that. You don't see how entirely tone-deaf this kind of thinking is, nor how entitled you sound. SMH...
PS: a design flaw is a defect.
"Definition
A design defect is a flaw in a product's design that makes it dangerous to consumers. Design defects can occur when a product is manufactured correctly but has a flaw in the design."
You aren't interested in actually reading that though and just want to complain.
Weird flex bro, but ok.
