Its a fog light. its not meant to be bright its meant to be at a level that is below the fog level and not reflect back so you can see the edges of the road.

It is "just a fog light" but when my cell phone flash light is brighter then the fog lights on a 60K truck, that is a problem. They could of gave us something a little better.

Exaggerations aside. They are not suppose to be bright for the original purpose. People want them for various off roading purposes. For the off road stuff, yes they should be bright, but them being ultra bright for fogs defeats the purpose of driving in fog with them.

Don't feel bad, I ordered & paid for the fogs on Oct. 29th......shipping notice email I got 2 days ago says they'll arrive tomorrow (01-17-2025)......2 1/2 months give or take.....this will be my last order EVER from Diode Dynamics! (When I ordered the estimated wait was 1-2 weeks....then changed to 8 weeks)......but actually took 11 weeks.....pathetic!!

I canceled my order a couple days ago. I again called for a status update just in case they were to be available sooner, they are not, so decided to possibly go with the SignatureLux option.

I hope those of you still waiting will receive them sooner than later, I just freed up a set for someone.

Mine shipped out two days ago. If you only waited another day you probably would have gotten the email.

Hmmm, I called Thursday and was told at least a couple weeks. Well, good for you, you’ll have them in a few days.

I’ll now wait for your impression of them before ordering anything else.

Easy enough. I ended up removing the wheel for maximum room to work. But probably was not necessary.

I just received mine yesterday. Didnt see install instructions in my box. Seems easy enough, but did they not provide anything?

I’m curious about the install as well. The website instructions are very generic. Let us know how it goes.

At 5:45. I used this as a guide for access. He is installing different lights though.

I took off the wheel/tire and undid a few fender liner screws for maximum room to work, but wasn’t necessary to complete the install. Stubby screwdrivers make it easy.

Ok, just took the time to install. I started with the passenger side and just turned the wheels all the way to the right. It took me about 20 minutes to do that side. I realized that I took too many screws out thinking I needed more space.

When I got to the driver's side, I turned the wheels all the way to the left and only removed the plastic air duct(see picture). That was enough room to get to the three screws holding in the fog light. This side only took me about 5 minutes.

The only complaint I have is that there's no way to check leveling when installing. There's a hinge in the mount for the light but once you tighten it down and mount it, there's no way to adjust it unless you take everything apart again. I won't be able to check beam pattern until it's dark tonight. Fingers crossed I did it right the first time.
