Isn't the Tremor an Aussie only trim right now? I haven't been able to build one on the US site.
The Ranger Tremor trim is in most markets except for North America.

I just don’t get it?… it was a huge hit when rolled out in the last gen (I think as a ‘21 model). The Tremor trim is currently available in the US on the Maverick, F-150, F-250 and Expedition. Crazy to me that it’s missing in the midsize segment where it is most fitting. It defies logic!

My 2.7 in my bronco averages only about 0.5-1 mpg more than my Raptor on a good day with no wind. On my trip to Moab in my Bronco I got almost 21mpg but that was with zero wind and no heavy stop and go traffic. So with the 2.7 you’re not really gaining much at all with MPG. I’m getting about 19 right now in my Raptor. You don’t buy Ford Trucks or off-road vehicles for MPG. When your off-roading in 4 low the MPG drops even more and averages the same as my Bronco.

I could see Ford releasing a Tremor but the price of the Raptor will definitely go up. Tremor pricing could be in line what the Raptor price is now.
Are the wheel/tire sizes different between the two? That in itself could account for as much or more on fuel economy as the difference in engines. Either way, the rolling mass is a factor to consider.

As far as pricing a Tremor package?…. I believe it was a $4000 up charge to either XLT or Lariat trim selected in the last gen. So, approximately $2800 more than checking the FX4 box if priced similarly. That said, a Lariat Tremor w/ 2.7l engine could be getting close to current RR prices. Personally, I wouldn’t have a problem with that. Two different animals and more choices are always better.

if you were to cross-shop and compare with the Tacoma, I priced a TRD Off-road, Premium with 6’ bed and it was ~$55k. The only reason I even looked is the configuration Ford doesn’t have (crewcab with 6’ bed).

What does a Tremor offer that an owner can't add himself?
Sure the DIY wrench could take the time and money and build a similar truck as a Tremor.
But the big sticking point for many are dealers finding reasons a warranty can be made void as soon as mods are more than cosmetic. Personally, I rather buy it and be done with warranty intact and not have to deal with take-off parts laying around or having to sell.

Honesty it's funny to me that the Tremor became an off road package- I don't know if anyone remembers the 1 year only F150 Tremor.

I had one, It was 2014- 2 Door Truck with a FX or FX4 Package, 3.5 with 4:10's, Was a fun sporty little truck- I wish Ford would still offer a 2 Door you could get leather seats and some other bells and whistles in.

Granted it was literally a parts bin truck while Ford retooled for the new F150 Generation but still,

I agree it would be really cool to see a street focus on some Trims.

I had a 2014 F150 FX4 Tremor. They also made a 2014 F150 FX2 Tremor. I loved that truck.

They also made a 2002 Ranger Tremor.

good question..the Texas Truck Channel guys already took a 5G ranger's tremor fox shocks and added them to their 6G XLT FX4 without any modifications needed. General Grabbers are already available from the factory with the tire option upgrade, terrain management is standard with fx4. all the other features from the 5g tremor were just cosmetic after those.
The Tremor also sits about an inch higher, track is slightly wider and don’t forget about the bank of auxiliary switches that are included. That’s an awesome feature for adding lights, a compressor and other goodies to power.

I’m guessing wider track is just the rims. I just picked up a set of ranger tremor rims and with the offset they push each rim out 3/4”
Like others mentioned Tremors are awesome, especially in a lariat trim!

Question about this. If you could add the shocks, could coils (https://www.shocksurplus.com/products/fox-2-0-performance-series-coilovers-985-02-133) possibly work from a 19-23?

This video just dropped - maybe we will get it
New video but not a new truck to the Aussie market. But yes… we are definitely missing out on a great truck here in the NA market. With Bronco sales down, Ford could up Ranger numbers at MAP by adding the Tremor trim to the line.

Loved the ride of my Tremor….agree the shocks made the truck plus the lift/level.
Interior had a few goodies (uplifter switches) too but nothing I couldn’t live without. Removed my stickers and red grille plastic pieces as I hated them. The Raptor style wheels were sweet. Currently in a 2023 Colorado Z71. Prolly moving back to a Ranger in 2025 or early 2026 depending on mileage on current truck.
Would definitely upgrade the shocks and do a lift level as I don’t like too much rake If I get another Ranger.
