Ranger 2.3 FX4 Raptor (ish) grille installed

I installed an aftermarket Raptor type grill on my 2024 yesterday.

The only real issue was the locating tabs on the base of the OEM Ford grill. I think I snapped 5 off, which is a bummer because I had planned on selling it.

The new grill needs assembly, so you have to mount the Ford letters, the upper L brackets, outer mounting plugs and the leds before installing it. All assembly is done with small Phillips head screws. The wiring for the leds is fed from the drivers side side marker lights, I just used a couple of press on t- taps.

I thought I would like the final result more than I do. I like it, I don’t love it. Got mine from Garage Alpha off-road for about 270 shipped. The website is a little confusing becaquse they show pictures of the grill alongside an actual ranger Raptor. The grills are not the same and not interchangeable on an actual Raptor.

Oh- I’ve definitely seen your stuff and I’d love to have some Aussie Ranger parts on my truck, it’s just the shipping to the US can be really expensive.

Your LED bar grill looks better than the predator one from the UK. Do you have any pictures of it during daytime?

gotta be honest, I am not loving it as you do. I mean it's nice, and I have been thinking about it for long, but the bumper difference with the OEM raptor I think here brakes the deal. it looks not as sporty and aggressive as the raptor does

but overall still a nice improvement vs the standard.

one note, wildtrak does not have that grill. it has the standard

Mine doesn’t have a front camera so that was no issue. There’s an actual YouTube video for several Australian/South African installs, which are basically the same. The only real issue was getting the old grill out.

Some Aussie ones have front cameras. There is typically enough excess in the wiring. Plus the camera only moves down slightly by half an inch...
