First off - I HATE HATE HATE the Adaptive Cruise Control - 2024 Ranger XLT (301A package). I don't like it in my Ranger and I don't like it in my wife's Bronco Sport.
In Forscan I found where to turn off the ACC completely. But whenever I turn on cruise, the system turns on Lane Keeping. I don't like all of these nannies. Can the Lane Keeper be sset so it stays off even when cruise control is on?
Also, I did the seatbelt dance and turned off the warnings. I wear a seatbelt any time I'm on a public road, but I don't feel a need to put it on at 8 mph on my private road when I'm going to get my mail. Can I make the "Press OK" box for the seatbelts just go away forever? I haven't been able to find that in Forscan yet. I tried the 720-13-01, 720-13-02 change and Forscan wouldn't write it, saying there was an error. Do I have to change 720-14-01 abd 720-14-02 as well?
Thanks for any help or advice.
